Hydraulic power units (HPUs) are essential for driving various equipment on oil rigs, including tubing tongs, casing tongs, drill pipe tongs, drill pipe make/break systems, roughnecks, wireline units, hydraulic winches, jack-up cylinders, rotary tables, pickup/laydown machines, and pipe rackers. These power units can be designed to combine multiple functions in a single complete rig floor power unit. Both electric and diesel hydraulic power units are available, with electric models offering standard shop service or explosion-proof Class 1, Division 1 units for hazardous environments. Diesel units are also available to meet the specific needs of offshore or remote operations. We provide open or closed loop systems, and our units are skid-mounted or trailer-mounted, designed for high or low-temperature applications, including cold weather environments. Each HPU is custom-fit to meet the customer's unique requirements and is delivered with comprehensive technical manuals, including operating instructions, assembly drawings, and hydraulic/electrical schematics.
